I am the ghost that walks these halls, The noises you hear behind the walls, The swirls and eddies that chill the air, The squeaks and creaks upon the stairs. Recently I realised I wasn’t a proper woman. Everything that was taken for granted as being female, didn’t seem to fit. But at the same time I didn’t completely identify with the idea of a “typical” male. I appreciate that these are just stereotypes, but there’s truth in stereotypes. I've tried this new style of poetry...Just something that was ringing in my mind. Thought I would pen it. Hope you guys can relate. I'm happy that this poem is not centered on a specific person, i could make it through the view point of either a girl or a guy. Oh, I hope you guys can relate and enjoy it.
