Your touch,
My heart skips a beat, like a skipping stone,
It's a rush.
Your smile,
It's like moonlight. To fade away,
it takes a word that's longer than a while
Your laugh
sweet as the sound of a chime
like the words of a poem that rhyme.
your lips,
like soft rose petals. I'm taking dips
in the ocean of your talk.
I'm lost
when you walk that walk.
Your look,
freezes time, oh, I can write a book.
You're just,
the only one I see now.

God, I hope I'm doing this right
I was never really one for praying
God, Please look at me in my eyes
I'm sorry, I'm just so sorry for everything
Even though I'm just another one of your creations
I wonder why I was born surrounded by destruction
I know nothing of your pity
But I still want to try and believe in thee
-
I crumble down to my knees
And I beg of you, please
Destroy every nightmare that I have ever slept
Break and shatter every mirror in existence
So I don't have to dream of what I've become to be
So I don't have to see what has finally become of me
-
God, I was never really one for confrontatio

Casanova
In the old town of Venice
The sin was born
One man, in the moonlight,
Took a woman's soul
She got doomed
But it seemed fair
That one night with him
With nothing left to tear
Centuries have passed
Even the rain turned cold
The sin lived
In the other men's blood
He looked at me and said
"Be the flame not the moth"
He was hypnotizing,
But he's Casanova, he can't love.
He likes numbers
And I was 24
I gave my body to his arms
I used to cry back then, but not anymore
That one night,
I remember it well
The stars came down
With no words to tell
Because we were one
Under the endless sky
The morning you left

I Didn't Believe You
When we arrived, you told me
As we waited on the bus
"The best week of your life is here."
I didn't believe you.
But at that one evening practice, you told me
As I staggered on the field
"It's better to sit out now."
I didn't believe you.
Afterwards, you told me
As I winced in pain
"I'm carrying you to the clinic."
I didn't believe you.
In the clinic you told me
As you handed me your own knee brace
"You're not going to march tomorrow."
I didn't believe you.
The next day, you told me
As I paced on the sideline
"Sit down; you'll be out for the rest of the week."
I didn't believe you.
That night, you told me
As you held me i

I've tried this new style of poetry...Just something that was ringing in my mind. Thought I would pen it. Hope you guys can relate. I'm happy that this poem is not centered on a specific person, i could make it through the view point of either a girl or a guy. Oh, I hope you guys can relate and enjoy it.
Happy reading!
Peace \m/
The thumbnail that speaks the poem is done by the amazing Zindy. Here have a look!

Very sweet and tender, as well the text as the drawing.
